SAF blasting wheels

Use
Considering the favourable purchase cost of the whole blasting wheel, and regarding both long life time and price of all its spare parts (blades, lining, etc.), it is economically convenient to set this blasting wheel onto existing automatic continuous, hook, table, and drum blast machines.
Overall description
- The blasting wheels carrying wheel is made of steel and designed for maximum load. To increase its life time, the carrying wheel surface is hardened.
- The blasting wheels blades are made of high-alloy cast-iron with 28% of Cr.
- Blades are attached (a dovetail groove with a spring) to the carrying wheel, which ensures their fast exchange without using special equipment.
- Central abrasive distributor and its cover are made of high-alloy cast-iron with 28% of Cr; they are designed to minimize friction between the abrasive and themselves.
- Abrasive beam adjustment is done from the outer side of throwing units, which simplifies and speeds up service work.
